Management of Ocular Diseases

Calgary Trail Vision Centre makes it a policy to ensure that all staff members are up-to-date on the latest technology and techniques to make your visit as comfortable and effective as possible. As optometric technology changes, it is even more important to select an eye doctor who has all the right optometry qualifications and follows the latest developments in eye care.

Utilizing cutting edge technology, we are diagnosing and managing, with greater precision, diseases like Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration Cataracts, and Diabetic Retinopathy. Earlier and more precise diagnosis means earlier treatment and better outcomes. We are taking an aggressive approach to diseases that previously had few treatment options. Great advances have been made in the treatment of these diseases.

We are excited to tell our valued patients that we will be opening the clinic to routine eye care beginning May 4.

Please be mindful that there will be limited access so we ask that you schedule an appointment before coming in. We apologize in advance for potentially running behind schedule as we implement best practices for your and our safety. If we are running late, we ask that you wait in your car until the previous patient leaves.

Also, we will only allow so many patients in the office so we request that only the patient with the appointment come to the office, obviously, except for a parent accompanying his or her child or a caregiver.

We request that you apply hand sanitizer upon arrival at the office and to please wear a mask when they come.

All exam rooms and instruments will be cleaned and disinfected between patients.

We very much look forward to seeing you!
